Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez 4

Let us first recap what had happen in the previous fight of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

The fight between this two warriors had started last May 8, 2004 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and was for the WBA and IBF Featherweight titles held by Juan Manuel Marquez. The fight ended in a draw. The controversy centered on why one judge scored the first round of the fight 10-7 instead of 10-6 like the other two—which, by the way, for non-fight fans is the standard score for a three-knockdown round.


A rematch was made between this two boxing superstars Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez for their unfinished business.

The two met once again at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 15, 2008. In this rematch it was scored a split decision for Manny Pacquiao.

For the third time Pacquiao and Marquez met on the ring held last November 12, 2011 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although Manny Pacquiao won this fight, the fight has been debated to death and the most controversial in a series of fights of this two warriors. Some said that it is Marquez who won the fight.

With so much speculation, accusations, and doubts on the previous fight Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will meet again for the fourth time. The fight will be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9:00 p.m.
